Sky Stadium (Wellington Regional Stadium Trust) has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories in the 2023 NZEA New Zealand Event Awards.
- Best Music Event 2023: Ed Sheeran (held at Sky Stadium on 2 February 2023)
- Best Community or Not for Profit Event 2023 (> 3000 participants): The Silent Night (held at Sky Stadium on 21 December 2022)
The number of entries in this year’s Awards was the highest ever, and the competition was incredibly fierce. The NZEA judges had a challenge to evaluate a cohort of such high-quality entries, so we are thrilled to be named a finalist across two categories.

Spanning 16 categories, the 2022/2023 NZEA New Zealand Event Awards recognise excellence, innovation, and leadership across the full breadth of the sector including event producers, sponsors, suppliers and individuals. This year's awards encompass events that took place between April 2021 and April 2023.
The NZEA NZ Event Awards winners will be announced at the 2023 Gala Evening on Thursday 9 November 2023 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre.
