Accessibility

Sky Stadium has a gold rating from Be. Lab. We aim to deliver a quality experience for all patrons including those with access requirements. We provide a number of facilities to ensure attending an event is as easy as possible.

There is a set down area available on the ground floor car park. Just ask the car park attendants for directions.

From the ground floor of the car park, a golf cart is available to transport you up to a set down area near the Stadium entrance.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to assist you in getting from the drop off area to your seat. Please alert a staff member if you require such assistance. At the end of the event, text 5454 with your location to request a wheelchair transfer from your seat back to the Stadium entrance.

For exhibitions, vehicle set down may be permitted at the top of the ramp, if traffic volumes are low.

An area for disabled parking on the ground floor is set aside at all events.

From the ground floor, a golf cart is available to transport you up to a set down area near the Stadium entry turnstiles. A disabled Mobility pass by itself does not entitle you to park at the Stadium. Stadium event day parking charges will apply.

If you need to purchase a mobility parking pass, please request this by filling in our Mobility Parking form. Advance purchase needs to be completed at least one week prior to the day of the event. Please note once purchased, this is non-refundable.

Advance purchase is not available for Exhibition type events – please speak to a car park attendant on arrival to the Stadium car park to be directed to a suitable area.

We have golf carts available to transport patrons requiring assistance from the top of the railway station ramps, or the top of the spiral staircase on Thorndon Quay to the entrance gates and back to the public car park. These golf carts run when it is safe to do so when pedestrian volumes on the Fran Wilde Walkway are manageable.

At the end of the event, the people-movers will run on demand to return you to one of the three areas. There may be a delay in these starting after an event while the majority of the crowd disperses.

There are 80 wheelchair spaces + companion seats located around the Stadium bowl seating area. Wheelchair seating is always available to purchase at every event, noting that some parts of the Stadium may not be on sale for smaller events. Wheelchair seating needs to be booked directly with the ticketing company and cannot currently be booked online.

There is also a range of low mobility seating options available to those patrons who do not use a wheelchair but may have trouble with stairs, who require additional room for a guide or service dog, or for those on crutches.

For Ticketek events, please contact them on the dedicated booking line reserved for patrons with mobility requirements: 0800 686 677.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to assist you in getting from the drop off area to your seat. Please alert a staff member if you require such assistance.

At the end of the event, text 5454 with your location to request a wheelchair transfer from your seat back to the Stadium entrance.

Wheelchairs are not permitted onto the pitch. This is for your own safety in the event of an emergency. We recommend you contact the ticketing company for the event and request details of wheelchair seating.

These are located next to Aisles 1, 3, 7, 12, 17, 21, 26, 30, 35 (separate from main toilet blocks).

At some events, flashing light sequences may feature as part of the entertainment, which may affect those with photo sensitivities. Signage will be in place around the venue on our IPTV screens and will be advised through the ground PA messaging.

We work closely with our match presentation team to ensure flashing light sequences follow recommended guidelines: that photosensitive individuals should not be exposed to flashes greater than three per second.

Please note for concert events, flashing light sequences may differ.
